This policy explains what information the Music City Midwifery website collects and what happens to it. It covers this website only.

What we collect

Browsing this website does not require you to give us any personal information. When you send us a message through the contact form, we receive what you enter:

  • your first and last name, email address and phone number;
  • your city and zip code and your estimated due date;
  • whether you are interested in homebirth, childbirth education or both, and whether you have given birth before;
  • anything else you choose to write in the message box.

Please do not include detailed medical information in the form. We will talk with you about your care directly.

How we use it

We use what you send only to reply to your enquiry. Your message is delivered to the practice by email, sent through Amazon Simple Email Service (Amazon Web Services).

How long it is kept

So that a message cannot be lost on its way to us, a copy of each contact form submission is stored in encrypted storage (Amazon Web Services) and deleted automatically after 30 days. If a message cannot be delivered, it is kept on our web server so that we can still follow up with you.

We do not store your IP address with your message. We keep only a one-way, salted fingerprint of it, used to limit abuse of the form.

Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

The contact page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a message comes from a person rather than an automated program. Turnstile runs in your browser and sends information about your browser and connection to Cloudflare to make that check. Cloudflare's handling of that information is described in the Cloudflare privacy policy.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it, such as which pages are visited and how people arrive at the site. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to measure visits, and the information it collects about your visit is sent to and processed by Google. We use it only to measure and improve this website, and we do not use advertising trackers. Google's handling of that information is described in the Google privacy policy.

Apart from Google Analytics, this website does not set cookies of its own.

Sharing

We do not use the information you send through this website for advertising, and this website does not share it with anyone other than the service providers named above, which process it on our behalf.
